Sharp Photography is a family business based in Auckland. Our services include wedding photography, portraiture, landscape photography and commercial photography. We use top of the line professional camera equipment. We also have our own large format printer, capable of producing canvas prints as well as beautiful laminated prints from A4 to A0 in size. Sharp Photography consists of three photographers, Richard Sharp, Darren Sharp and Simon Sharp. Because there are three of us, when working together we are able to cover extremely large events with ease. We are passionate about our work and a top quality result for our customers. Richard Sharp

Richard has been involved in photography for 12 years. He holds a certificate in photography from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies and his notable achievements include the front cover of an American magazine and product shots for Durex. Richard's photographic work has also included photography for NZ Constructors Monthly Magazine, portrait shots for numerous real estate companies, work for the NZ National Actors Team for the Los Angeles World Acting Championships 2009, theatre company work and wedding and portrait photography. Self taught in photography Richard moved on to gain his Diploma with Merit in Freelance Photography. Having worked in a widespread photography arena Richard has gained an extensive knowledge of the benefits and limitations of various types of photographic equipment. It is this knowledge and experience coupled with his easy going personality that allows Richard to capture great shots for his clients without any fuss.

Darren Sharp

Darren has great experience and expertise in landscape photography having produced stunning images over the years. He incorporates this expertise into all areas of his photography. Darren prefers to shoot photojournalism style, creating fresh, less-formal, candid images, to capture all the beautiful moments and energy of every image.

Simon Sharp

Simon is very confident behind the lense and loves attention to detail. His experience lies in photographing people.
