Nikon D4 Versus the D3s ISO Test from 200 -12800
Had some time to play with the Nikon D4 over the weekend and thought would try a comparison test with iso settings for the D4 and D3S, have seen a couple of different tests online based in a studio environment but nothing outside using no artificial lighting only the sunlight so here are my results. All the active D lighting settings have been turned off and sharpness levels are set to zero on both camera’s and the iso settings are the same but there are differences in aperture and shutter speed, but you can definitely see a difference in grain, the D3S having slightly more grain as the iso goes higher and the D4 appearing softer, but the sharpness of the focus point( the concrete bowl) is definitely better on the D3S up to 12800 when the D4 kicks in. view more
